Yoshohiko Yoshida Workshops & Lectures

Japanese ceramic artist/potter Yoshihiko Yoshida will be visiting Oregon during the last 2 weeks of May 2011, and will be giving workshops and slideshows (+ 1 gallery show) at the following 2 venues.

1.   Clatsop Community College, Astoria (1653 Jerome Ave., Astoria, OR  97103)

Ø  Gallery show at Art Center Gallery on CCC campus, May 20 – June 30

May 20 (Fri), 6:00pm, opening reception

Ø  Professional Artist and Student Workshop

May 21 (Sat), 9:00am – 3:00pm, CCC Ceramic/Art Studio

Workshop fee:  Students $20;  Professional Artists/General $30

(Ceremonial Tea at 12:15pm)

Ø  Slide Show and Artist Talk (Astoria Performing Arts Center, Franklin Ave and 16th St.)

May 21 (Sat), 7:00pm, free and open to the public

Music by Larry Tyrrell (Shakuhachi & Traditional Bamboo Flute)

2.   Mt. Hood Community College, Gresham, OR
